Boise, Idaho-- The city of trees will be the sight of the Ironman's newest event - the Boise Ironman 70.3 Triathlon.
Coming in June, about 2,000 athletes from nearly all 50 states and roughly 20 countries will descend on the city.
The race will start a Lucky Peak Reservoir, with a 1.2 mile swim, then a 56 mile bike ride, followed by a 13 mile run that ends downtown.
The triathlon will be a qualifying event for the championship race in Clear Water Florida in November.
