Ultimate Team Challenge

X-Tri will host a long distance triathlon for individuals over the same course to be used for the 2006 Canberra LD Triathlon World Champs (So all Aussies can get a chance to compete on this course).

It will comprise a 2km Aqua Shop swim, a 94 km Capital Tourism bike ride and a 20km CBD Parkland run.

“The Ultimate Aussie Team Challenge is a winner take all format event, so the fastest male, female and mixed team will each win $1,500-00 making for $4,500-00 on offer, plus primes for the team entering the Challenge and every team is entered in an open category!”

“And, additionally we’ll be looking to pay a $500-00 premium to the fastest outright team to beat 4-hours on this course!”

“No event within Australia has offered this incentive before; nor has anyone designed an event specific to individual team multisport athletes and triathletes.

“Teams may consist of any combination of professional or amateur athletes. They simply need to be willing to take on the Ultimate Aussie Team Challenge distance and the distances lend themselves to many multisports specialist athletes."
