Ironman WA - anyone home?

The latest `news' on the official ironman WA site is now more than a week old .. a preview of the pro men's race. There's still no preview of the pro women's race. And there's nothing else to build the race's profile.

The one profile on the race, as searched through Google, was on a Canadian running and triathlon site. So what gives? Why aren't the organisers here getting the word out?

Really, how hard is it to write a few sentences for the race's own website and build a bit of enthusiasm?

Even ironmanlive can't be bothered to mention the race, except indirectly in a US Thanksgiving post.

Is anyone home?
