We had a final swim on the course this morning. All the flags are in the water. It's a deep water start .. no feet on the ground here.
T1 is easy and should be fast.
The actual race start time is still a bit up in the air. It won't be before 7am and we've heard talk it may be as late as 7:30am because it's not really light here much before 7:15am.
It's carbo night tonight but we've been told to eat before as there's quite a procession of dignitaries and local customs to welcome us to Langkawi. We've been rotating between a Japanese restaurant and a Thai restaurant (great chocolate milkshakes - Tony gives them five-star ratings!)
I can't say enough about how friendly the locals and the organizers and volunteers have been. In addition to have kids sweeping out part of the bike course yesterday, this morning there were guys out with leaf-blowing machines on the main road.
